7. He Has More LMDs Than Any Other Character (One Of Which Was Convinced He Was The Real Nick Fury)
Life-Model Decoys (or LMDs as they are colloquially known) are a form of robot designed by S.H.I.E.L.D. which take the form of a living person, in order to take the place of that person in a situation deemed too dangerous for them or when that person is otherwise occupied. The respective owner (the original version of the character being replicated) can see through, speak through and control everything the LMD does whilst out in the field Nick Fury's LMDs are undoubtedly the most common ones in Marvel comic books - which makes sense given that he has been the head of the organisation that makes them for much of Marvel's history and, as such, is very important to them. The most well-known of all of Fury's LMDs is Max Fury - an LMD who actually believed itself to be the real Nick Fury for quite some time prior to aligning itself with the villainous organisation known as the Shadow Council.
