Granted, a fair few people are already aware of this, but certainly not everyone. In 1998, there was a live action television movie produced by Marvel and Twentieth Century Fox called Nick Fury: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. The movie starred an actor who couldn't be more different to Samuel L. Jackson if he tried - Baywatch and Knight Rider's own David Hasselhoff. It focused on a retired Fury being approached by S.H.I.E.L.D. to return to duty to take down HYDRA, who had threatened to attack Manhattan with a pathogen they had reconstituted known as the Death's Head virus. The film received a mixed reception and also featured other well-known Marvel characters like Wolfgang von Strucker, Werner von Strucker, Arnim Zola, Dum-Dum Dugan, Clay Quartermain and Alexander Pierce.
