10 Things Everyone Always Forgets About Daredevil

1. The Complexity Of His Powers

It is well known that Daredevil’s senses have been elevated to near superhuman levels and they more than compensate for his lack of sight, but the true meaning of what these abilities have bestowed on Matt and what they allow him to do escapes most people. He can control his central nervous system, internally increasing his strength, speed and reflexes to peak human levels and dulling his pain receptors.

Daredevil’s sense of smell is so acute that he can tell identical twins apart by the subtle differences in their scents. He can identify any person that he has spent more than five minutes with simply by smell alone, no matter how they try to mask it. While he is not on a par with Wolverine, Matt, through concentration, can track some people even weeks after the trail is “cold”. And while everyone knows that Hornhead’s hearing is too acute to lie to him, he can also hear sounds as low as one decibel, making it impossible to sneak up on him.

Murdock's sense of balance is so advanced that it allowed him to balance on one hand during a fight with the Mole Man in Daredevil #10. Separate from his much-discussed Radar Sense, Daredevil has shown a “proximity sense” which allows him to know the spacial location of everything and everyone around him.
