7. He Is Always Batman's Enemy
For a pair of people who tend to carry out elaborate plans to ruin the other's life, Batman and Bane sure do work together a lot in the comic universe. This is most pronounced in Bane: Conquest, where Batman and Bane end up working together to rescue a small child from the clutches of an evil cult that want to make him their 'chosen one'.
As much as you'd presume this was the most reluctant partnership in history - something that isn't entirely wrong - the two appear to share some instances that verge dangerously close to being bonding moments, such as when Batman reveals he approves of the villain's morals surrounding innocent civilians.
The pair always go back to being hostile with each other towards the end, but it's also always with an element of respect that's hard to miss - or to not appreciate.
