10 Things We Learned From Marvel’s “All-New, All-Different” Relaunch

6. Black Panther Is An Ultimate... And So Is Galactus!

With the Ultimate Universe gone, elements of it are being absorbed into the new Marvel Universe -- including the name "The Ultimates." This team, however, bears little resemblance to the one created by Mark Millar and Bryan Hitch. With Al Ewing on writing duties, it looks to be the next chapter in Ewing's "Mighty Avengers/Captain America and the Mighty Avengers" run. Indeed, both Spectrum and The Blue Marvel will be on the new team.

Joining the team is Black Panther, curious given his involvement with the Illuminati and his subsequent attempted murder of Namor just before the Secret Wars. Nevertheless, T'Challa is one of Marvel's best characters and it's always great to see more of him.

Even more surprising is the fact that the world-devouring God known as Galactus -- who has threatened the Earth's existence on many occasions -- seems to be a member of the team! One can only imagine how he fits into the Ultimates' plans, but with Ewing as writer, odds are the dynamic will be well-crafted and entertaining.
