10 Things We Learned From Marvel's August Solicitations
4. Agents Of Atlas Is Becoming An Ongoing
Even with War of the Realms being such a runaway success so far, it still comes as a little bit of a shock that Agents of Atlas is getting its own, limited, series. But as Marvel themselves put it:
"By popular demand, Atlas debut in their own series as Amadeus Cho, Silk, Shang-Chi, Wave, Jimmy Woo, and all your favorites defend the cross-Asian portal city of Pan against the science-magic threat of one of Marvel’s classic villains! Classic science-magic super hero fun combined with young and old heroes from multiple lands clashing with one another, fighting monsters and maybe saving the world along the way! And who is Isacc Ikeda, the Protector of Pan? Plus: Where are the original Agents Of Atlas? Namora, M-11, Gorilla Man and Marvel Boy in an all-new top-secret mission."
This was further confirmed, if more confirmation were needed, by Grek Pak over on Twitter:
Written by Pak himself, as well as Jeff Parker, while the illustration duties will be handled Gang Hyuk Lim and Carlo Pagulayan, Agents of Atlas will have a ton of variant covers by the likes of Skottie Young and Mico Suayan to name just two, and will give Marvel it's first ever all Asian superhero team.
