Iron Heart
Marvel Comics

Riri put her Ironheart armour in storage with the implementation of the Underage Superhuman Welfare Act, much to NATALIE’s annoyance. Being a public figure, she feared the legal repercussions that would befall her mother if she didn’t stand down. Riri did send NATALIE to help the Champions with security while trying to evade CRADLE forces after the Act becomes “Kamala’s Law”, but she stays safely in Chicago.

The Champions end up at Riri’s door in Chicago, where she allows them to hide out but When Ms. Marvel accuses her of betrayal, Williams explains that her public identity and dependence on her mother due to her age does not allow her the same freedoms as her teammates. The Champions unwittingly led CRADLE forces right to Riri’s home and they have to fight their way out.

After briefly resting on Captain Kate Pryde’s Marauder's ship, The Champions decide to take the fight right to CRADLE. They discovered that the evil corporation Roxxon is the one behind Kamala's Law and, thanks to their efforts, it was finally repealed. The team returned to Chicago and apologized to Ms. Williams and the Champions were free to be heroes again.
