10 Things You Didn't Know About The Batcave

9. The Batcave Is ENORMOUS

The Batcave is big. Well, "big" doesn't do it justice. The Batcave is huge. In fact, it's eight freakin' stories tall! The first level is 90ft below Wayne Manor while the bottom level is 324ft below ground. The main level contains costumes, weapons, and a supercomputer. It has a garage filled with about a dozen Batmobiles (including every version that's appeared in the movies), the Batpod, Batplane, Batcopter, Batwing, and Bat-Train. (Although a Bat-Train sounds stupid, it still appears in the recent comics.)

The lower levels have a gymnasium, a shooting range, and a mechanics workshop where Batman invents, fixes, and modifies weapons and utensils. The very bottom level is beside a river where the Batboat and the Bat-Submarine reside.

If a supervillain learns of Batman's secret identity, he can't send them to Arkham Asylum since they would tell everyone that the Dark Knight and Bruce Wayne are one and the same. In these situations, he places them in a prison cell in the Batcave.

Unsurprisingly, the Batcave is also home to hundreds of thousands of bats. Batman didn't know for years that his valet, Alfred Pennyworth, feeds the winged creatures. (Their food bill must be insane.)
