10 Things You Need To Know About The Future Of DC Comics
2. Superman's Secret Identity Isn't A Secret
The New 52 has brought some interesting developments for Superman. He was introduced as a socialist blogger on a one-man Occupy crusade, clad in jeans and a t-shirt. Then he graduated to proper superhero, and shirked his usual on-off romance with fellow Daily Plane reporter Lois Lane for a prolonged dalliance with Wonder Woman. Recently he got a new set of powers, in the run written by Geoff Johns and drawn by John Romita Jr. The latter remains, with the former replaced by American Born Chinese author Gene Luen Yang apparently bringing a whole lot more changes in his upcoming run on the main Superman title. And don't expect Clark and Lois to happen any time soon. Supes might very well be returning to the t-shirt-and-jeans combo in the near future, and for good reason too. His secret identity as Clark Kent is null and void. According to the preview DC put out, Lois Lane has outed him as Superman meaning he can't go anywhere without every supervillain going causing trouble.
