While serving on the second X-Force, Domino grew close to the team's leader Wolverine. They grew close enough that he asked her to take on a personal errand to deliver flowers to a loved ones grave (whose exactly is unsure, Wolverine has a lot of dead loved ones).

While on the errand, Domino encountered the Sisterhood of Evil Mutants who are stealing the bodies of powerful mutants to resurrect them. The Sisterhood was able to escape but Domino was able to preempt their next move and swapped out the body of Jean Grey with a fake.

Wolverine repaid this favour in X-Force: Sex and Violence, a series that was the embodiment of "does what it says on the tin". Domino was on the run from the Assassin's Guild who wanted revenge for a job gone wrong. She had been sent with a team of assassins to take out the Hand, only to discover that they were involved in trafficking women. Domino saved the girls, but left the assassin's to die.

Wolverine helped Domino take care of the assassin's chasing her, checking off half of the series title and then they both proceeded to check off the other half.
