3. Punching A Hole In Reality

You know, considering the fact he's supposed to be a hero, Superman sure does f**k a lot of stuff up. When DC decided to streamline their overly convoluted continuity, an alternate Earth version of the hero ended up getting stranded in a "Paradise Dimension" (don't ask) which slowly drove him mad as watched the world he helped create continue without him.

Desperate to bring his own Earth-Prime back, this Man of Steel had a massive tantrum and started punching the walls of the new reality - which led to many controversial changes, including the return of Jason Todd - and set out a mission to restore things to the way they used to be.

As a result, the publsiher returned to it's old confusing pre-Crisis on Infinite Earths status quo, a long list of characters were killed off by Superboy Prime, and he thereby established himself as one of the most annoying and frustrating versions of Superman in the entire history of DC Comics. This Superman is such a selfish jerk that he's actually destroyed Earth after Earth in a quest to find his own and is a grade-A a**hole.
