While there's absolutely nothing wrong with working at McDonalds, it is worth noting that it's a job intended for us mere mortals - instead of galactic monsters who aim to enslave entire planets. As such, while there's nothing wrong with us working a good ol' fast food job, it's definitely something that Darkseid is humiliated by, going by his expression in the job alone.

Perhaps more importantly, there's a pretty good chance that Darkseid is not the manager of the particular branch of McDonalds he works at, meaning not only has the tyrant been deposed and forced to work a regular job, but he's forced to work in one where he isn't even the boss of himself.

Although this panel is clearly a one-off gag image - it's in an Ambush Bug comic, after all - it's fun to imagine the Ruler of Apokolips having to adjust to a regular life. Plus, given the amount of grief pretty much any worker dealing with the public has to face, you know the poor villain has been shouted at about cold Egg McMuffins at least three times that day alone.
