10 Times Wolverine Went Too Far

That's right, one of the most badass superheroes of all time is also a massive creep.

Wolverine's predatory behavior extends all the way across his publication history. His alleged and potential targets have included Squirrel Girl, Pinch from the Officer’s Squad, Jean Grey (as already mentioned), and the worst case of all, Mary Jane.

The scene of his worst crime came in Ultimate Spider-Man #66 to 67. Logan is 100 years old. Through some crazy mind swap, his consciousness gets transferred into the body of Peter Parker, and vice versa. Despite realizing what had happened, Logan’s chosen course of action was to try and sleep with an oblivious Mary Jane.

Let’s run the whole thing from the start again. Logan is a 100 year old man, Mary Jane is a 15 year old teenager. It was still Logan in possession of Peter’s body, and Mary Jane did not know about it. It's incredibly wrong on at least several different levels and serves as a solid reminder that the Ultimate version of the character was pretty awful.

Maybe Stryker wasn’t wrong to lock him up in a tube after all.
