10 Times Wolverine Went Too Far

3. Ruining Frank Simpson's Life

Ok this isn’t just going too far - it’s pure super villain behavior.

Frank Simpson was a relatively innocent child, who had a thing for the girl who used to be his babysitter. The babysitter in turn, had a crush on his dad. So far, so scandalous.

Things take a turn for the worse when the girl devises and implements a plan to kill Frank's mother. That is when Wolverine arrives on the scene. What does the brave mutant warrior do you ask? Why he kills the girl, of course. Driven mad by the insanity unfolding all around him, Frank’s dad commits suicide.

Logan then abducts Frank and forces him into a special weapons program. The same one he had been trying to shut down all his life.

Years down the line, Frank gets assigned to Vietnam, where he encounters Logan again. Wolverine then proceeds to torture the young man yet again, even giving him a forceful tattoo of an American flag, right on his face.

In case anyone is still wondering, Frank goes on to become the super villain Nuke, who would later blow Hell's Kitchen half to smithereens in Daredevil: Born Again.
