10 Times Wolverine Went Too Far

4. Killing Hank Pym

A superhero’s biggest enemy is often their moral code. It is difficult to beat foes who are willing to cross any line, when you are unwilling to do the same yourself.

Not Wolverine though. This guy couldn’t care less who he slices up as long as his bloodlust is satisfied… and the mission is complete.

Perhaps the most striking example of that came during Age of Ultron. As the genocidal bot is tearing the world apart, Wolverine and a bunch of other heroes cook up a plan involving time travel. Nick Fury and some others decide to go into the future to stop Ultron… for some reason, while Wolverine teams up with Invisible Woman and heads for the past.

Once there, they track down Ultron’s creator Hank Pym. Logan then simply proceeds to kill him, because of course.

The plan backfires horribly though, as Logan’s action results in the rupturing of time itself. By the time Wolverine and Sue return to the present, the world is in far worse condition than it was when they left.
