8. Orange Kryptonite
Have you ever wanted to see an ostrich fly? Ever wanted to see a goldfish burn someone alive with heat vision? Ever wanted to see a blob fish do anything? Like, anything at all? Then you’re in luck with Orange Kryptonite, the only Kryptonian material capable of giving animals superpowers for up to 24 hours.
Its first appearance was in issue #4 of Krypto The Superdog. The comic saw the discovery of the orange substance and its abilities and Krypto’s attempts to stop Catwoman’s pet from stealing it.
Orange Kryptonite hasn’t really made much of an impact but we are hoping that a storyline featuring a dog uprising - motivated by all the times they've been tricked to fetch a ball that never was - comes around sooner or later.
