As a regular in "Worst Comics Ever" lists, you probably know about The Rise Of Arsenal even if you haven't read it yourself.

The arc starts off bad, as Harper is beaten badly by Prometheus and loses an arm in the fight. When he next wakes, he finds the villain went on to launch a full-scale attack across multiple cities, killing Harper's daughter in the chaos.

To make matters worse, the blades used to cut off his arm were coated in a nanotech bacterium that was eating away at his flesh.

The rest of the arc focusses on Roy and how he handled things. However, while it's important to showcase grief, PTSD and drug abuse, the way the writers handled this was way off base.

Looking for anything to help with the physical and emotional pain, Roy turns to drugs. While hallucinating, Roy fights off what he thinks are a group of Prometheus clones before Batman interrupts things. Harper is snapped back to reality, holding a dead cat and surrounded by dead muggers.

Just for an extra little jab at the guy when he's down, the writers also managed to put in page dedicated to Harper being unable to perform in the bedroom.
