10 Uncomfortable “Adult” Comic Book Moments

Look, puberty is a really awkward time for everyone. It doesn't matter if you're a school kid or a superhero, it's just not fun. So, instead of letting poor Dick Grayson suffer in privacy, DC decided to tackle the matter head on.

However, instead of taking a serious or educational angle, the company went for something way more cringe-worthy.

Robin and Batgirl are fighting the very memorable Crazy Quilt when they are locked inside a safe together. There's barely enough room for the two in there, so they are pressed up against each other pretty tight.

The Boy Wonder is obviously in a sticky situation, trapped in close proximity to an older woman in skin tight spandex and, well, you can see where this is going.

As Batgirl quizzes Robin on why he wears short shorts and pixie shoes, the poor kid goes into full horn dog mode. Grayson awkwardly attempts to flirt with his fellow captive until things quickly get awkward for everyone, with Batgirl stating:

"That better be your utility belt pushing against my leg".

Thankfully, Batman comes to their rescue and frees them both from the safe, though Robin has to stand sheepishly, covered by his cape for a little while.
