While it's undeniable that the Punisher is capable of some pretty intense feats, it's also safe to say that he is just a little less powerful than the entirety of the X-Men combined - and by a little, we do mean entirely and without a shadow of a doubt.

However, this doesn't stop Punisher from doing exactly what the Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe title suggests, and successfully taking out the far more powerful faction - with some slight help in the form of a nuke plundered from Dr. Doom's lair.

Punisher invited both Magneto and Professor X's sides of the mutant team to a meeting, with both parties convinced that the other had invited them. Just as they realised something was amiss, Punisher set his plan in motion, and blew the entire team sky-high - with the exception of Wolverine, who he killed in person later.

While it's hardly surprising that the Punisher proved to be very good at killing, taking out the entire of the X-Men in one fell swoop is no easy task, especially for a man without any kind of superpowers.
