For those not well versed in the surreal and unusual world of the hero known as the Impossible Man, there's a single thing important to know about him: he is nowhere near as powerful as Galactus, especially given his main power is the ability to transform into a water hose at will.

However this doesn't stop Impossible Man from doing as his name suggests, and managing the impossible feat of taking out Galactus. In the Fantastic Four #175, the titular heroes' failing efforts to save the world from Galactus are joined by none other than the Impossible Man.

After watching everyone else try and fail to combat the threat at hand, the green jokester comes up with his own plan, which involved getting the behemoth to eat his home planet, Poppup.

While this sounds like the single worst plan ever, it's then revealed that the planet is basically poisonous due the the Poppupians' shapeshifting powers, which dissolves Galactus from the inside out. Impossible Man is, of course, incredibly smug that his plan worked - which is kind of weird when you remember he essentially just wiped out his entire species.

I like my comics like I like my coffee - in huge, unquestionably unhealthy doses.
