J. Scott Campbell and Andy Hartnell's comic book series, Danger Girl, is being developed into a film after languishing in development hell for nearly a decade. The movie was picked up by Constantin Film in 2017, which helped push development of the project.

Both creators are set as executive producers while writing has been tasked to Jeff Wadlow, who will also direct. Wadlow's no stranger to comic book films thanks to his work on Kick-Ass 2 in 2013.

Danger Girl centres around three sexy secret agents named Abbey Chase, Sydney Savage, and Natalia Kassle. The trio goes about on various espionage adventures in much the same vein as Charlie's Angels and other superhero secret agent-types. The girls are led by a former British Secret Service Agent named Deuce, while their direction and guidance is provided by a teenage genius named Silicon Valerie. It's a cross between Charlie's Angels and Indiana Jones, and while it was a popular comic, attempts to make it into a film have failed for years.

There is no indication as to who may take on the leading roles in the film, or anything more than the previously mentioned folks helming the project. With any luck, it will hit theatres sometime in the next few years.
