Jupiter's Legacy is a superhero web television show being developed for Netflix, based on a comic of the same name by Mark Millar and Frank Quietly. Millar's work has made the leap to other mediums before with Kick-Ass and The Kingsman being two you may have heard of.

The series will follow the comics, but there's a good chance it will stray from the source material a little bit. Regardless, it will follow the story of the world's first generation of superheroes, who gained their abilities or showed up on the scene back in the 1930s.

In the present, they are the revered elder guard, but their children have a hard time living up to the godlike stories of their parents. Filming has already wrapped on the first season, and it features Josh Duhamel, Ben Daniels, Leslie Bibb, Elena Kampouris, Andrew Horton, Mike Wade, and Matt Later in principal roles.

The show will hit Netflix sometime in 2020, though an exact release date has yet to be announced.
