In 'Herald of Doom', Galactus has re-emerged in Latervia, looking to get his chow on, most likely after seeing the five-star Yelp food review. Of course, Doom isn't exactly going to take this laying down, and sends his new right-hand woman Victorious, and an army of Doombots to attack the antler-helmeted giant, to no avail. When even magic fails to contain Galactus, Doom is forced to change tactics.

Although distracted by the sudden appearance of the Fantastic Four, Doom uses devices that Mr. Fantastic calls Singularity Disruptors, although Doom calls them Big Bang Cannons, which, frankly, is a way better name. While the FF scuffle with Galactus, Doom traps Galactus in a mountain and hooks him up to Latveria's power grid.

Of course, Galactus gets out eventually with the help of the Fantastic Four, but for a while, Doom had turned one of the deadliest forces in the galaxy into a giant battery. Kudos.
