Stick, as we've just mentioned in the Daredevil entry, is the martial arts master who pretty much taught Daredevil everything he knows. The leader of the formidable ninja clan the Chaste, he has made it his mission to keep them completely pure and clear of any evil infection. He forbade another of his prominent students - Daredevil's ally, Elektra Natchios - from continuing as one of their members because of her vengeful personality, in spite of her formidable progress and impressive ninja skills. Although little is known about his past, Stick is blind and it is assumed that he has been so since birth. As a result, in typical comic book fashion, he has honed his other senses and developed a sort of radar sense. Although he is merely human, through training he has developed a low level of telepathy and the ability to drain life energy from another person.
