10. Destiny (Blind)

Destiny, otherwise known as Irene Adler, is a blind mutant with precognitive abilities and one of the only only people that the shapeshifting mutant Mystique ever loved. Austrian by birth, Destiny has links with Marvel comic book organisations such as the Brotherhood of Mutants, Freedom Force and HYDRA. Her power enables her to see future probabilities and, consequently, interpret them in a way that best selects or manipulates what is likely to happen. This enables her to compensate for her blindness by "seeing" where objects in her path would be before they actually get in her way. The accuracy of her ability to foresee the future decreases in direct proportion to the distance ahead in time, so she is far more accurate when it comes to predicting things that are imminent, as opposed to one month in the future, for example. Offensively, she uses a small crossbow that she is very adept with, because she can "see" where the arrow will strike in her precognitive visions.
