3. Nick Fury (Blind In One Eye)

Most people know who Nick Fury is now - he's the bad-ass World War II army hero, present-day super-spy and director of the espionage agency S.H.I.E.L.D. Played by Samuel L. Jackson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the classic version of the character in the 616 Marvel comic book universe is actually white - Jackson is based more on the Ultimate version of the character. Granted halted ageing by the Infinity Formula, Fury is a skilled and experienced soldier who is adept with many weapons and fighting techniques. Capable, therefore, of looking after himself in direct combat, Fury is also an excellent preparation master and is known for having procedures and plans in place for almost any imaginable disaster or occurrence.
