Although normally the talking anthropomorphic tiger ally of Billy Batson, during and after the Flashpoint event Tawky Tawny would become a humble pet tiger.

The magic that surrounds him ensures when he is in his usual tiger form, on-lookers merely see a tabby cat. Only Cyborg can see Tawky Tawny for what he truly is, due to his cybernetic eye.

In the Flashpoint universe, Tawky Tawny is the last of the great striped tigers of Kahndaq, but also the pet of Pedro Pena, one of the six children who can become Captain Thunder. He is incredibly close to Pedro, rarely leaving his side. Pedro even uses Tawky Tawny as a way of getting an extra vote when the group are making decisions.

In his smilodon form, Tawky Tawny fights alongside the combined form of the six teenagers, Captain Thunder, and has all the strength, speed and durability that comes from being such a mighty prehistoric beast.

This interpretation would carry into our main universe, as after Flashpoint Tawky would become a zoo tiger who Shazam formed a bond with, and who briefly was given the hero's powers after the beast almost died defending Billy from Black Adam.
