7. Mogo
As you would expect from an organisation that spans the entire universe, the Green Lantern Corps has some pretty strange members.
The weird aliens in possession of a green lantern ring could easily fill up a list on their own and include the glorified chipmunk Ch'p, the space mushroom Amanita and F-Sharp Bell, a blind alien whose people have no words for colour. However, the weirdest Green Lantern has got to be the biggest.
Mogo first appeared in the classic story Mogo Doesn't Socialise by Alan Moore. In the tale, an alien killer called Bolphunga the Unrelenting went to a mysterious planet to hunt down the Green Lantern Mogo. After weeks of fruitless searching, Bolphunga left the planet. As he was leaving though, he turned around to realise that the entire planet itself was actually Mogo.
The reason Mogo doesn't socialise is because his gravitational field would destroy any planet he tried to "visit".
The Living Planet has been an integral part of the Green Lantern mythos ever since, distributing out rings to new members and providing a safe place for injured Lantern's to recuperate.
Mogo has all the powers of a regular Green Lantern, but can also control the weather and ecosytem of his surface, essentially attacking opponents with an entire planet.
