10 Weirdest Comic Characters You Won't Believe Exist

DC Comics' newest horror baby, a Basketful of Heads, is thus far building up to be both incredibly unusual and just outright incredible.

And nowhere is this clearer than in its unique characters. This is especially true for the titular heads, who our hero encountered while they were still whole, and then beheaded with a magic Viking axe that somehow keeps them alive after their skull has left their body.

The current heads are Ned Hamilton - Brody Island councilman, and drug dealer to the island - and Salvadore Puzo, who is pretending to be a felon, but is in fact a member of the police.

While the comic is largely horror-based, there's an undeniable vein of mystery that has come in through the heads. This is not only in regards to how the hell the axe used managed to let the heads live while cut off from the rest of their bodies, but also why both heads thus far don't seem entirely surprised by what was happened to them.

Needless to say, whatever pay off comes from these characters and their unusual circumstances is sure to be incredibly satisfying given the way the story has thus far built up.
