10 Wonder Woman Graphic Novels You Must Read Before You Die

8. Paradise Found

Wonder Woman Year One Rebirth
DC Comics

Following the events of Paradise Lost, published only a few issues earlier, Phil Jiminez concludes his epic story arc in Wonder Woman Vol. 2 #171–177, Secret Files #3 under the title, Paradise Found.

The story opens as Wonder Woman's world crumbles around her. Paradise Island had just been embroiled in a civil war, which led her mother, Queen Hippolyta, to abolish the monarchy. No longer a princess, Diana found herself dealing with far greater threats outside Paradise Island's borders.

One of Diana's greatest friends has become a new enemy, but the return of an arch-enemy from her past threatens all the male superheroes of the world. It's up to DC's superheroines across the planet to save the world.

Paradise Found can be read without reading Paradise Lost, but it would be best to check out both compilations so the reader can appreciate the complete story.
