6. Kryb
Kryb is an interesting one in that, while technically not a parent, her entire deal is based around bringing horror through her desire to ‘parent kids’.
As a yellow lantern, Kryb creates fear by murdering Green Lanterns and taking their children, which she then raises while keeping them in a little cage on her back.
Yes, yes it is exactly as terrifying as you think it is. In an even creepier moment, Kryb is so determined to take care of babies that she almost performs a caesarean section on a restrained Green Lantern, only being stopped by Kyle Rayner.
All this said, she does try to protect her ‘kids’ in Blackest Night, so she does genuinely care for them – just in a messed up, horror film kind of way.
