10 Worst Spider-Man Costumes Of All Time

It must be really tricky to come up with a different look for an iconic superhero. How do you make Wolverine's apparel look better than his traditional outfit? Can you think of a better design for Iron Man's armour? These are the types of worries a comic artist has to suffer on a regular basis.

And after going through dozens of different redesigns, the creative reservoir is eventually going to run dry. When the artists can't think of anything else, they just go, "Hey, why not just invert the colours?" And that's how we got the Web-Man outfit.

Web-Man made his first and only appearance in Spidey's Super Stories #25 (which doesn't take place in the main Marvel continuity). After Spider-Man looks through Doctor Doom's magical mirror (just go along with it), the Latverian monarch was able to created an evil version of the wall-crawler called Web-Man. Web-Man is considered Spidey's opposite, which is why he sports a blue-and-red costume instead of a red-and-blue one.

Web-Man's suit is, by no means, the worst Spider-Man costume but it is definitely the least creative.
