4. His First Costume

We can't talk about Spider-Man outfits without mentioning his original one in Amazing Fantasy #15.

No, not the red-and-blue suit with the webbed armpits. We're talking about the outfit he wore when he took up amateur wrestling shortly after obtaining his spider-powers.

After gaining the proportionate strength of an arachnid, Peter thought wrestling was his best chance at making some quick cash. And it was clear Peter was in desperate need of money since he couldn't afford a wrestling uniform. His outfit consisted of a white collared shirt and blue trousers (which is weirdly the same colour-scheme as Homer Simpson).

What made his choice of wardrobe even worse is his decision to make a mask from his own webbing. First off, how does he see through that? He's used his web shooters all the time to blind criminals. Secondly, the mask (if you can even call it that) doesn't look like it should be worn on one's face. If anything, it looks more like a fishnet stocking!

Peter was strapped for cash at the time, but couldn't he have drawn a cool symbol on his shirt or something?
