10 Worst Spider-Man Costumes Of All Time

2. Cyborg Spider-Man (Again)

Spider Man 2211
Marvel Comics

Okay, turning Spider-Man into a cyborg during the 1990s is understandable. Robots were all the rage back then. But during the Edge of the Spider-Verse saga, Marvel did it again when the Superior Spider-Man met the wallcrawler of Earth-2818, Cyborg Spider-Man.

This version of Parker looks like the artist stuffed every cliche possible into one character. Laser cannon in his back? Check. Rifle built into his arm? Check. Cybernetic eye? The last Cyborg Spider-Man did that but yep, check. His appearance is so over-the-top, it wouldn't be too much of a surprise to learn this Transformers wannabe was devised by Michael Bay.

Also, the way the metal is drawn around his mouth makes Cyborg Spider-Man looks like he has a robot moustache. It doesn't matter how good your art looks; nobody can make a robot moustache look good.

Cyborg Spider-Man could've worked if he was more sleek and smooth. But because he has exposed wires and cybernetics jutting out of every orifice, he looks clunky and messy.

The artists were probably aiming for a Terminator vibe, this Robo-Spidey looks as intimidating as Johnny 5.
