10 Worst Things Captain Marvel Has Ever Done
1. Basically Everything Involving Ulysses Cain - Civil War II
The fundamental issue with Captain Marvel in Civil War is that she relies unnervingly heavily on the fact that Ulysses Cain's visions of the future can't possibly be wrong, despite the fact she has literally no idea if they work, or if they're even definitely true.
This results in Carol detaining a ton of superheroes who have done nothing wrong, simply because Cain has a vision of them doing some kind of crime. While this alone is pretty sketchy, it's later revealed that Cain can't see the future, but rather possible futures - meaning that all these people are detained for literally no reason.
Worse yet, Danvers is essentially responsible for the death of the Hulk, as after Cain sees a vision of the Hulk wreaking havoc, Captain Marvel brings the Inhumans, the X-Men, and the Avengers with her to confront Banner. Naturally, seeing every existing superhero on his front lawn ready to murder him freaks Bruce out, resulting in Hawkeye shooting him in the head, as he'd promised the scientist he would were he to ever lose control again.
In short, Captain Marvel's inability to wait until Cain's powers were totally understood meant that she basically became the villain of Civil War II, despite her good intentions.
