10 Worst Things Comic Villains Have Done To Regular People

2. The Government Make Sex Legally Boring - SFSX (Safe Sex)

Whether it's in popular fiction or just in real life, there can be no villain more scary than the Government itself.

The running of a country is a monumental task, that requires a huge amount of responsibility and gives those in charge a huge amount of power. The idea of that power being put into the wrong hands has been the basis for countless dystopian horror stories, and even more real-world historical events.

Tina Horn's SFSX (also known as Safe Sex) imagines a world in which the government has criminalised one human right that we thought they could never touch: the right to enjoy good sex.

Under these new laws, expressing sexuality is expressly forbidden. Sex is only permitted between a married couple (which MUST consist of one male and one female), and all sexual activity between them must be logged, filed, and put in paperwork within 24 hours. If your mandatory fit-bit detects a love-making session that goes unfiled, it could mean permanent damage to your Purity Score.

A low Purity Score, or even just possession of such illicit materials as a pair of high heels or a bold shade of lipstick, could lead to you being arrested. Whether you're sexually active or just like to have colourful lips, I think we can all agree that SFSX sounds like a pretty lame dystopia to be a regular person in.
