10 Worst Things Iron Fist Has Ever Done
6. Ruining A Child's Life
If there's one thing that comics have taught us over the years, it's that being a superhero is hard and dangerous work. This is mind, giving actual children standalone heroes is pretty much dedicating the rest of their lifes to struggling - which is why Iron Fist doing exactly that is an undeniably sketchy move.
In the first run of Power Man and Iron Fist, the heroes are face with a young boy named Bobby Wright, who is suffering from an unnamed terminal disease.
In an attempt to be heroic, Iron Fist uses his powers to try and cure the boy - a process that imbues him with the ability to transform into a fully grown superhero with the somewhat blunt name of Captain Hero.
While Iron Fist's intentions were well, it's vaguely concerning to see him never question the fact that a young boy is now continually facing unimaginable foes due to his actions. Bobby does later become the alias for a Skrull, sure, but that doesn't totally excuse Iron Fist essentially signing off on a literal child being signed up to a brutal cause.
