10 Worst Things Magneto Has Ever Done

Storywise, Ultimatum may be such a hot mess that it's a sweet relief when it causes your eyes to melt out of your skull, but it certainly stands up there as one of the worst things Magneto has ever done.

After Scarlet Witch was killed as part of a love triangle between a robot and her own brother and Quicksilver kicked off a trend of making poor life decisions regarding bullets, Magneto threw a bit of a hissy fit.

Using Mjolnir (or not, that part is pretty unclear), he reversed the Earth's magnetic poles, unleashing a series of natural disasters all over the world.

In one of the most devastating attacks, all of New York City was hit by a tidal wave. Thousands of innocent people died, but, more importantly, so did actual named characters. The flood claimed the lives of heroes like Daredevil and Nightcrawler and the death toll only rose as everyone else was hit by a fatal case of stupidity.

For all its faults though, it was an event that certainly shook up the Ultimate Marvel Universe and cemented Magneto as its greatest villain.

Except also the whole thing was apparently set-up by Doctor Doom for... reasons.
