8. Wiping Captain America's Memory
Captain America is one of the most loyal, righteous members of the Avengers. This in mind, any plan that involves brainwashing him to forget a secret plan because he said it was evil is 99% likely to be a bad and evil plan - which, in the unfortunate case of the 2013 New Avengers series, turns out to be tragically true.
Although the mind wipe is to avoid internal conflict in the Avengers - and another Civil War - erasing the memory of a trusted ally "just in case" does appear to be completely immoral.
Worse yet, making fun of him during the brainwash is just outright cruel - and especially awkward when it turns out he actually remembers the whole thing.
Captain America isn't always right, but blasting his memories away to avoid conflict is catagorically the worst way to end a heated discussion.
