10 Worst Things The Avengers Ever Did

7. Raising A Zombie Army

Captain America Hawkeye Black Widow
Marvel Comics

As awesome as it is morally questionable, Black Panther's decision to get a horde of undead warriors to back him against Thanos is probably one of the highlights of 2015's Secret Wars. The zombies do willingly join T'Challa -after he uses his title of King of the Dead to win them over- and they do help turn the tide of battle, so it's not like T'Challa called them into action just to briefly control a sweet undead army.

That said, they do still want to eat human flesh, which doesn't make them super safe teammates. Although this doesn't matter when they're tearing into the opposition, there is still the matter of their very human - and very fleshy - teammates, who presumably would be less pleased to be chewed on.

Although an undeniably awesome moment, Secret Wars could have easily ended with a zombie takeover if the rest of the events of the comic had not carried out in extremely specific, extremely lucky way they did.

I like my comics like I like my coffee - in huge, unquestionably unhealthy doses.
