10 Worst Things The Justice League Has Ever Done

Continuing in the trend of the Justice League abusing their superpowers to gain real world powers, the Justice Lords were a prime example of what can happen when absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Although they first showed up in the Justice League animated series, it wasn't long until the comics saw the potential of this concept and incorporated it.

The story goes that, when Superman realised that Lex Luthor would forever continue his cycle of doing crimes, getting arrested, and immediately escaping prison to do it all again, the Man of Steel decided there was only one thing for it: he gave Lex a blast of his ol' laser vision, killing him instantly. Rather than being horrified, the rest of the Justice League were actually pretty impressed with how efficient this method of fighting crime was, and they all got on board.

Before you knew it, the League were referring to themselves as Lords, toppling world governments, abolishing law and order, outlawing democracy, spying on the entire populace, and straight-up murdering any and all criminals on sight.

We'll give it to the Justice Lords: they were certainly efficient, even if they had no grasp of the concept of justice.
