Mister Sinister's introduction to the Marvel Universe wasn't the most auspicious of beginnings for such an iconic villain. He looked utterly ridiculous... which is fantastic to cosplay, naturally. Later interpretations of the character expanded upon his scientific leanings and his background as a master geneticist. Basically, he's the ultimate mad scientist, a cross between Josef Mengele and Victor Frankenstein.
