12 Worst Superhero Team-Ups Ever

9. Wolverine and Spider-Man

Okay, okay, calm down. I know Wolverine and Spider-Man have actually had some of the greatest team-ups in comic book history, just take it easy for a second. Yes, from 1987€™s brilliantly restrained Spider-Man vs. Wolverine all the way to Jason Aaron€™s perfect Astonishing Spider-Man and Wolverine, Spidey and Wolvie have been like Marvel€™s modern Odd Couple €“ just two guys who couldn€™t be more different finding themselves in hilariously bromantic situations.
But in Ultimate Spider-Man 67 and 68, Wolverine and Spider-Man found themselves in the comic book equivalent of Freaky Friday €“ or Face Off €“ when each awoke to find themselves in the body of the other. The story itself is utterly hilarious, with both heroes being forced to live in the body of the person they hate the most, and results such great moments as Peter Parker cutting off Logan€™s finger while inside his body, and Wolverine scoping out the jailbait at Peter€™s school. Hell, he doesn€™t even waste time in making moves on a teenage Mary Jane.
The reason it makes the list is because it was not the finest hour for each one of these characters. In fact the whole situation nearly reduces Spidey to rage-tears while yelling at the X-Men for their part in the switch-up. Logan, most likely, washed it all away with a beer.
