In the midst of the once in a lifetime failure that was DC vs Marvel was Robin vs. Jubilee. It seemed perfect take the sidekick of DCs most renowned and beloved superhero and pit him against the unofficial number two of Marvels resident badass. What could possibly be better? Well, it turns out anything could, because in between all the universe collision and superhero vs. Superhero festivities somehow Dan Jurgens felt it would be a good idea to give fans a love story. Because thats the sort of thing they want to see in a comic where the two biggest publishers in the history of the industry are supposed to be fighting in a winner-take-all battle royale. As their story arc goes, Robin is transported to Jubilees bedroom. They then tussle for a bit and end up being transported to Venice, Italy where they decide to go on a date. Somehow Robin and Jubilee got more time in the DC vs. Marvel festivities than The Flash, Electra or the Silver effing Surfer. Well done DC vs. Marvel, well done.
