With Avengers: Endgame done and dusted (literally), it looks like the MCU bubble will burst any day.

People don't realise that the Fantastic Four has the opportunity to broaden Marvel's scope beyond comprehension. This can be made possible by adapting one of the best FF stories in recent memory, The Council of Reeds.

In this comic, Reed Richards stumbles upon a Council composed of multiple Reeds from different universes. He encounters every Reed you can imagine; a medieval Reed, a Professor X version of Reed, and several Reeds who wield their own Infinity Gauntlets. The Council's purpose is to use their combined intellect to create a perfect multiverse.

The Reeds could face an alternative version of Galactus, ally with a good version of Thanos, or battle ten Doctor Dooms from different parallel Earths. What if the Council are revealed to be the real villains? What if the Council are pure but Richards has to leave his family and team to join them?

You see? The possibilities are endless. This story was so good, it directly inspired The Council of Ricks storyline in Rick & Morty. That's how you know The Council of Reeds story has real potential.
