11. The Frightful Four
During the millennium, Marvel created a reboot of the comics for a modern audience called Ultimate Comics. In this version, the Fantastic Four were a bunch of teenagers who developed their powers after a teleportation experiment went awry.
In the story, Crossover, Reed Richards is contacted by a parallel version of himself from another dimension. It was heavily implied that this parallel Richards was from main Marvel universe (which is known as Earth 616). Readers were exhilarated as they assumed the Ultimate Fantastic Four were going to crossover with the Earth 616 superheroes.
When Richards entered this parallel universe, he realised all of Earth's inhabitants had been turned into zombies. As the zombified heroes and villains started running out of food, the zombie Fantastic Four (which are called the Frightful Four) tricked Reed Richards from the Ultimate universe to open a portal to connect their worlds. That way, the zombies could enter his world, allowing them to feast on humanity.
It would be awesome to see this story get adapted for the big screen so we could see beloved characters like Thor, Wolverine, Giant Man, Hulk, and Loki as the undead.
Since this is a parallel Earth, we could potentially see some characters that are no longer with us like Black Widow, Whiplash, and Killmonger. (Captain America is a long shot but it would be cool to see Chris Evans depicting a zombified version of Cap).
