13 Fantastic Four Stories & Villains We Could See In MCU Phase 4

8. Silver Surfer And Galactus (But Done Right This Time)

The Silver Surfer and Galactus made their live-action debut in the 2007 film, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Although the movie received mixed reviews, the Surfer's portrayal was highly praised. Galactus was not met with praise because he was depicted as a freaking cloud.

I am not suggesting that depicting Galactus correctly is easy. He is one of the most complex comic book characters. He is a cosmic entity that predates the universe. Despite devouring planets and killing trillions, Galactus is not evil; he is simply hungry. In fact, the Fantastic Four have allied with Galactus many times to battle cosmic threats.

If these characters encountered the FF in the MCU, the film could conclude with Galactus defeated but not killed. Galactus is simply too interesting to appear in one movie. He knows more about the universe than any other Marvel character. He can be used as a tool to broaden cosmic stories such as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 or Captain Marvel 2.

The Silver Surfer is also too interesting to be limited to a single appearance in the MCU. Born as Norrin Radd, he chose to become Galactus' herald if his planet was spared. Although this backstory was briefly mentioned in Rise of the Silver Surfer, it would be incredible to see Radd's home planet, his first encounter with Galactus, and his transformation into the Surfer.

If the characters appear in a Fantastic Four film and are well-received, a Silver Surfer origin story will be more than welcome.
