10. Bruce Wayne Confronts The Red Hood - Issue #21
There's A First Time For Everything Foreshadowing at its best, in Issue #21 we get our first look at Bruce Wayne trying to stop The Red Hood Gang while in disguise. What's interesting is that this is not just The Red Hood Gang, but this is THE gang whose leader will ultimately go on to become the legendary Joker in Snyder's Bat-world. The Zero Year story line could not begin in better fashion, with a confrontation between the two men who will go on to become mortal, life long enemies, and whose legendary tit-for-tat and song and dance is among the greatest in all the history of comics. The foreshadowing in this scene is crucial to the overall Zero Year story line, planting seeds of doubt in the reader's mind as to who the Red Hood is, and what his motives could possibly be.
