You may have heard of Codpiece already. The villain only lasted one issue, but made such an impression that he has become a legend amongst comic fans.

Hands down, Codpiece has the worst backstory in comic book history. He spent his life battling insecurity after a misunderstanding with his crush. He had asked her out, but was promptly denied due to his height. However, that wasn’t quite how she phrased it.

Having been told he “wasn’t big enough”, Codpiece took the insult to be in reference to his gentleman’s region. Throughout his life, he struggled to maintain relationships and had to resort to hiring a prostitute. Unfortunately, her friendly advice to “pad the area” was the final straw.

Codpiece invented a crotch cannon and a power suit before heading out on a crime spree. This is when the costume gets even worse. Not only is it a vulgar, stupid design, but the canon is capable of more than just blasting.

It turns out that the attachment is full of surprises. It could produce sonic blasts, scissors and claws. It even had even a retractable boxing glove, just in case the joke hadn’t quite landed.
