15 DCeased Moments That Shocked The World

Although most of the majorly shocking moments revolving around zombies are about superheroes succumbing to the anti-life disease, pretty much all of these are beaten in shock-value by the discovery that Superman's father, Johnathan Kent, has been infected while the Man of Steel was away trying to save the day.

With so much of the series being about Superman and his reaction to the apocalypse, this is a moment that tugs especially powerfully at the heartstrings, as the hero's grief over the man who willingly took him in and raised him as his own is almost physically painful - especially when combined with his mother's slow realisation that her husband of so many years is gone forever.

For the most part, DCeased focuses on bringing you gore and zombies. However, for a handful of moments, the series is incredibly emotional - and this is unmistakably one of those.
